ACT for Life Services believes that no person should have to live their life in loneliness and isolation because of a disability.

We are a non-profit organization established to provide a secure future to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities.

Life is much easier for me since Barbara became a member of ACT for Life Services. I feel relieved of so much worry. Before, I was constantly worried about my daughter’s future. I didn’t know how to set up my will so that she would be taken care of after I’m gone and I didn’t know where to turn for good advice...The people at Life Services have proven to be caring and trustworthy friends.

What We Do

ACT for Life Services (Disabled and Alone / Life Services for the Handicapped) was established as a non-profit in 1988 to meet the compelling need expressed by families and individuals with disabilities as they searched for answers to the questions:

Who will be there for our loved one when we are gone?

How do we maintain Governmental Benefits and provide for a higher quality of life?

ACT for Life Services has established itself to:

(1) provide advocacy and oversight for individuals with disabilities where assets have been designated for their benefit and. Learn more about our advocacy programs here >

(2) help families plan for when they will no longer be able to care for their loved ones OR provide individuals the use of trusts to maintain/obtain their Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medicaid, other governmental benefits and customized supports if needed and desired. Learn more about our comprehensive planning services here >

(3) provide Supplemental Needs Trust Services (First and Third Party) to enable individuals with disabilities to maintain government benefits while providing for the “needed” extras in life to ensure a higher standard of living and quality services. Learn more about our trust services here >
